We were recently asked to exhibit in a group art show commemorating the closure of the 'Forster Green Hospital'. The hospital, which was set up as a facility almost exclusively for the treatment of patients with pulmonary tuberculosis (TB), was established in South Belfast in 1896. Forster a Belfast tea importer gifted the facility and land after several of his own children succumbed to the disease. We discovered one of his branded tea caddy's from the 1920's and allowed it to inform our work, our screen printed Tea–b poster takes its lettering and colour straight from this reference. Thanks to Struan Hamilton at Belfast Print Workshop for his skill and assistance, the show runs until the end of June at The Engine Room Gallery, Belfast.
